Two career paths, one Absolute Legend.

From Figma file to production, no handoff.

I started out in graphic design, made the mistake of learning HTML, and never recovered. What began as making things look nice slowly turned into making things look nice and work, which is a much more stressful combo. I now split my time between Figma, code editors, WordPress,  Elementor and the Adobe Suite mostly out of spite for anyone who says designers can’t do both and to keep my mother happy (I do all the marketing for her business).

Outside of work I make music, lift heavy things at the gym, and try to be a normal, well-adjusted person around my friends (results vary). Give me an idea and I’ll turn it into something real, whether that means designing it, coding it, or just refusing to stop until it works.

My Experience

Canterbury College Graphic Design & Illustration.

During this two-year program, I developed skills in Adobe Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator. For my final project, I designed and illustrated three A1 posters, which were professionally printed onto cotton paper and displayed in the end of year show.

I design the thing, then argue with myself about how to build it.

Outside influences

What i do with my little spare time

Outside of work you’ll find me with a guitar or listening to my record collection. Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Zeppelin, Beastie Boys, Black Crowes and many many more are permanent fixtures on my playlist, and open mic nights are where I test whether my singing is actually as good as I think it is (jury’s still out). I’m also learning Italian to reconnect with my heritage, and people no longer answer in English when I speak it which is good?

I also enjoy cracking puzzles, my friends are now sick of hearing me talk about the following things: Wordle, MinuteCryptic, Crosswords, Betweenle, Strands, Connections and many many more silly puzzle games.
